Great food and awesome bartender, I've been visiting emmitsburg more and more recently. It's an amazing town! And if you visit and want to catch the vibe, definitely stop by.
Very friendly bar/restaurant. Food was great! We will definitely stop again. We had chicken Noodle Soup, Clam Chowder, mushroom Swiss burger and a Cheddar cheeseburger. Delicious!!!
Best food around, they have better crab dip and crab soup than most seafood places, and better wings than wings places.wide menu selections, including seafood, burgers, sandwiches, and pizza. Can't go wrong here. Great service and a friendly staff in a historic setting.
The Ott House is a great local pub restaurant that has a fire department theme and not only caters to the local folks but many of the visitors and students of the near by National Fire Academy. As a firefighter, i can say that Bobby and his crew at the Ott House go above and beyond to provide a great pub experience from food and drink to entertainment with many live bands coming in and other activities. The shuttle to and from the Fire Academy is awesome. Can't say enough good about the people and the place.
I spent two full weeks at the National Fire Academy studying Fire Inspection Principles. Had a fantastic time. Everyone was absolutely grand. The evenings spent at the Ott House in Emitsburg made the time spent there e even more memorable. Thank you The Ott House People.
Food is good and atmosphere is friendly and neighborly. Staff is very nice. Would have like to see a full menu on the Internet so I will show photos for others.
Excellent meal. Excellent pie and excellent smiles from the staff. All for a very reasonable price. Burger, fries, rum&coke and a slice of pie for under 20 bucks... Can't be beat.
The GTR and Carolina Mustard wings, fantastic. Only complaint was the wings could have been tossed a little better, but it didn't stop me from eating them!
Service was excellent, I definitely would like to try something other than what I had but was impressed with the quality and speed in which our food was served. Thanks to all the folks at Ott House for your hard work
The wings are absolutely amazing. We had my little sisters first communion party here and their service was phenomenal.
